Pumpkin Spice Latte Face Mask
Perfect Mask for At Home Spa Day
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon ground coffee
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Step 1: Mix the Dry Ingredients – Mix the cinnamon, brown sugar and coffee grounds in a small bowl.
Step 2: Add the Pumpkin – Slowly blend the tablespoon of pumpkin into the mixture.
Step 3: Add the Honey – Adding the honey and pumpkin last will ensure there aren’t clumps of dry ingredients.
Step 4: Stir – Blend the ingredients until the cinnamon, coffee and brown sugar have all made contact with the pumpkin and honey.
Step 5: The Spoon Test – For a spa-day style mask, your mask should hold up on a spoon. Tip: For a quick, exfoliating scrub that you can use daily, add an extra tablespoon of pumpkin puree and replace the teaspoon of cinnamon with a half a teaspoon of yogurt (dry skin) or apple cider vinegar (oily skin).
Step 6: Apply Mask – Use the back of a spoon or a small spatula to apply a thin layer of the mask to your face. Wait 10–20 minutes or until the mask starts to dry–you’ll feel it tighten.
Step 7: Rinse- Splash water onto face, gently exfoliating as you rinse. Wipe off any remaining mask residue with a warm, damp cloth.
